Current Project Areas

Explainable and Trustworthy LLMs

Possible topics include concept-based LLM monitoring, reasoning faithfulness, explanation disagreement, and LLM understanding benchmarks.

AI for Scientific Discovery

Possible topics include interpretable machine learning for materials science, molecular representation learning, battery materials prediction, and neuroscience-inspired AI.

AI in Education

Possible topics include learner-state-aware AI tutors, student simulators, LLM-assisted project management, and responsible AI assessment design.

What I Expect

Students should be willing to read recent literature, implement and evaluate models carefully, document experiments clearly, and communicate progress regularly. Strong programming skills are useful, but intellectual curiosity and disciplined project execution are more important.
